Halian is seeking a highly skilled XSOAR Engineer for a 12-month contract to support advanced security operations in Abu Dhabi. This role is crucial for maintaining the efficiency and responsiveness of Security Operations Center (SOC) activities, ensuring robust cybersecurity posture across enterprise environments. The position offers hands-on exposure to Palo Alto Cortex XSOAR and related security automation technologies.

The XSOAR Engineer will collaborate with SOC teams to design, implement, and optimize automated security workflows, integrating SIEM, EDR/XDR, DLP, and firewall systems. This role provides a unique opportunity to deepen expertise in cybersecurity operations and automation, contributing directly to the protection of organizational assets and sensitive data.

🛠 Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain automated playbooks in Palo Alto Cortex XSOAR

• Integrate and optimize SIEM/SOAR platforms for threat detection and response

• Support incident response workflows, including EDR/XDR, DLP, and firewall systems

• Troubleshoot and resolve SOC engineering issues effectively

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance cybersecurity operations

• Document processes, workflows, and security controls for continuous improvement

🎓 Requirements & Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in SOC engineering or cybersecurity engineering

• Strong hands-on experience with Palo Alto Cortex XSOAR

• Proficiency in Python scripting for automation and integration

• Experience with SIEM/SOAR platforms (Cortex XSOAR preferred)

• Familiarity with EDR/XDR solutions, DLP systems, and firewall technologies

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

• Immediate availability is highly preferred

Average Market Salary (Estimated): AED 280,000 – 350,000 per year (based on XSOAR Engineer / SOC Engineer roles in Abu Dhabi with 5+ years of experience)
